The Services and Support provided by the local Service organization are critical to the success of each EnterprisePOS user. While the services available vary throughout the world, they include installation, training, telephone support, revision updates, support contracts and IQ/OQ. Consult with your licensed software distributor for the products and services available in your area and include them on your quotations and orders.

Vydata Systems is committed to providing the best and most complete support options available. We strongly recommend our customers maintain a support contract with us. This allows them to keep up-to-date with EnterprisePOS features and allows us to support their system more efficiently.

Additional Support Offerings

Our team of Vydata Systems certified distributors (VSCD) provides the client with multiple paths to a successful implementation. VSCD’s use our best practices approach to the most effective and practical solution to each client’s specific needs. As EnterprisePOS is scalable from single user systems to large, multi-site enterprise systems, each step in the scale requires the proper approach to achieve the implementation within practical time and cost limitations. Our EnterprisePOS DISCOVERY process is applicable to all levels of implementation and our implementation managers assist the client in determining the most probable path to success. During this DISCOVERY process, the client and the VSCD will define the client’s expectations for:

- Functionality required, Timeline to complete, Tasks to accomplish, Ownership of each task, Resources for Manpower, Hardware, Infrastructure. Accountability to management for each step along the way is handled by the client’s designated VSCD. The end product of the DISCOVERY will produce an implementation plan that encompasses all of the above tasks and expectations.

EnterprisePOS provides the latest technology tools to reduce the amount of resources in money and manpower required for implementation. Technology such as:

· Providing the client with a blank, remote database accessible over the internet to be used for setup, training and testing of configured data points, vendors and user configurable reports prior to the technical, onsite installation.
· Distance Learning sessions that allows the client to use blocks of time for one on one training without the expense of travel, meals and interruption to the normal work routine. Scheduled one or two hour sessions provide the ultimate in training flexibility.

The technical installation then becomes only a matter of installing the system on the customer’s hardware and activating the configured, tested database on the hardware.

N0202601 Custom Report Writing Support
The assigned VSCD or a Vydata Systems Engineer (VSE) will offer a flat rate for support of report writing and customization. This rate is separate from the Basic Support Plan. EnterprisePOS software includes template builders for reports in Crystal Reports. We include some “example only” reports with user modifiable source code. If reports are specifically contracted to be written, they can be included and supported to meet original design specs. Any support or troubleshooting of customer created reports will be based on current rates of service. $100.00 / hr

Beyond basic support of your system, Vydata Systems offers advanced support for customization of your software interface. This rate is separate from the Basic Support Plan and will cover any of the interfaces listed in the previous interface section. $175.00 / hr

WEB based shadow sessions where the user logs in to a web server and is stepped through the setup and operation for EnterprisePOS using a prototype database. This support option includes unlimited “un-shadowed” access for user to practice with their database. $200.00 / hr

N0202615 Application Service Provider
Your EnterprisePOS is run remotely on a server that is maintained off-site. This service is only available by certain VSCD companies that have web services included in their product line. $599.00 / Month

N0202616 Off-Site Backup Service - DAILY
A web-based application service bundled into EnterprisePOS that will automatically backup your database (file or server-based) remotely each day. You schedule the time each day. This service is only available by certain VSCD companies that have web services included in their product line. $550.00 / Month / Site

NM202616 Off-Site Backup Service – WEEKLY, MONTHLY, or ANNUALLY
A web-based application service bundled into EnterprisePOS that will automatically backup your database (file or server-based) remotely each week, month, or year. You schedule the time and dates. Usage of all modules within the standard package and options will be covered.Prerequisite: The EnterprisePOS system should have been installed and in operation at the time of attending this class. $1,500.00

N0202607 EnterprisePOS System Manager Course (2 days)
The System Manager class covers the complete development of an EnterprisePOS system from the installation of the system to the development of the system up to and including system maintenance.· Manipulation of EnterprisePOS System Settings and “INI” files.· Review of EnterprisePOS database tables.· Installation and manipulation of optional programs. $1,000.00

N0202608 EnterprisePOS Report Designer Course (3 days)
The course will assist in developing Crystal Reports for the users of EnterprisePOS.· Editing of existing application reports and building custom reports from scratch will be covered.· Basic to advanced report techniques (Cross tab, Formula Editor, etc.) will all be covered.· Direct connect vs. exported data analysis and basic reporting fundamentals also covered.Prerequisite: Basic Knowledge of Computer Operation and Microsoft Windows is mandatory. $2,000.00
